Join us October 4th for Flower School 201: Asymmetrical Design & Color Theory — a virtual floral design experience designed to build on the fundamentals of floral design while introducing new techniques to help you create arrangements with more movement, intention, and visual interest.
Whether you joined us for Flower School 101 or you're new to the Flower School series, you're welcome to join us! While 101 provides a helpful foundation, it is not required to participate in 201.
During this interactive class, we'll explore asymmetrical design, color theory, and floral wire while learning how professional florists use these techniques to create arrangements that feel balanced, dynamic, and beautifully designed.
What to Expect
🌸 Build on the Fundamentals: Take the foundational principles of floral design a step further as we explore balance, proportion, movement, and composition in more intentional ways.
🌿 Explore Asymmetrical Design: Learn how to create arrangements that feel dynamic and visually interesting by creating balance without relying on traditional symmetry.
🎨 Understand Color Theory: Discover how colors work together and learn how to make more intentional color choices when selecting flowers for your arrangements.
✂️ Learn How to use Flora Wire: We'll introduce floral wire as a design tool and explore how it can be used to support, shape, and manipulate flowers to create movement and structure.
✨ Step-by-Step Guidance: I’ll walk you through my approach to designing an asymmetrical arrangement, sharing professional techniques and tips along the way.
💐 Interactive & Hands-On: Follow along in real time, ask questions, and create your own arrangement while putting these new concepts into practice.
🎥 Recorded Access: Can’t make it live? All participants will receive access to the recording so you can revisit the lesson and techniques at your own pace.

A materials list and floral recipe will be provided after registration, including the recommended flowers, vase/vessel, floral wire, and basic tools you'll need to participate.
